Tree viewMyocardial Infarction OntologyThe myocardial infarction ontology (MIO) is a disease-specific ontology that characterizes the knowledge field of myocardial infarction. Currently, MIO has been developed based on the MIKB database, medical literature, and the BioPortal (Biomedical Ontology Repository). It has nine main classes, including anatomical entity, clinical finding, drug, gene, influencing factor, pathogenesis, patients-related concepts, procedure, and myocardial infarction. MIO currently contains 3090 classes, 14 object properties, 11 annotation properties, and 3494 individuals.
