MIGD (Myocardial Infarction Genetic Database) integrated MI-related genes from the various omics levels and provides useful tools for users to search and analyze. Functions of MIGD and usage of each function is as follows:
1. Home
The ‘Home’ page for providing a brief introduction of the MIGD to users.
2. Search
On the 'Search' page, we provide three different search methods for users to search the information in MIGD: Browse Search, Keyword Search, and Advanced Search.
(1) Browse Search
To browse the data collected in MIGD, first, choose the gene type, omics type or MI type you are interested in; second, the interface will skip to the information page once you click one of the results in the result list; third, choose one of the studies that you are interested in.
(2) Keyword Search
The database is searchable by official symbol, molecular factor name or MI type: input a keyword and then click the 'Search' button, then you'll get the result.
(3) Advanced Search
Click the ‘Advanced’ button to enter the advanced search interface. Advanced search is a more powerful method to query a database. Users can combine and specify different search terms to get more accurate results.
3. Tool
MIGD also provides a web tool for constructing Gene-Molecular factor-MI interaction networks and Gene-Drug interaction networks.
4. Submission
You can contribute to the project by submitting new MI-related omics data, which can be uploaded via the online submission form and added to the database for review through our careful review.
5. Download
Download the data you need in MIGD.
