Overview of the MSD

The MSD database constitutes an amalgamation of relational tables encompassing data on sepsis patients from three medical institutions across Western China. The coherence among these tables is established through a unique identifier, such as Patient_ID, which uniquely represents a patient's single hospitalization record. The patient's primary index is encoded by the PAADMDR code.

MSD_Base

Derived from the patient's medical record cover page, containing essential patient information.

MSD_Drug

Derived from the patient's medication records, medication information during the patient's hospital stay.

MSD_Ops

Derived from the patient's surgical records, documenting details of the patient's surgical procedure.

MSD_Diag

Derived from the patient's diagnostic records, encompassing all diagnostic information throughout the patient's hospitalization.

MSD_Lab

Derived from the LIS (Laboratory Information System) system, this includes records of the patient's clinical laboratory test information and microbiological examination results.

MSD_Ris

Derived from the Imaging Radiology System, these records comprise the patient's imaging reports, including imaging findings and textual results of the reports.
