ICTBI 2012 Call for Papers
The 1st International Conference on Translational Biomedical Informatics (ICTBI), which is planned for 8-10 December 2012 in Taicang, China, has released a call for papers under relevant topics of Translational biomedical informatics and Computational systems medicine.
Translational biomedical informatics is currently developing as a novel discipline to meet the demand on translational medicine research, which analyzes and integrates biomedical data series from medical researches. Computational systems medicine is to use and further apply computational approaches and advances systems biology in order to solve biological problems with overall aiming at improving the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of complex disease. Today, the research activities in these topics have been rapidly progressed because the massive amounts of biological and medical data generated from high throughput technologies, such as next generation sequencing and computational algorithms which can be integrated with the clinical database as well as the other medical knowledge databases.
The papers related to translational biomedical informatics and computational systems medicine are invited to submit to the ICTBI 2012. The interesting topics include, but are not limited to:
Translational biomedical informatics
Computational modeling and data integration in biomedical researchHigh-throughput data analysis in biomedical research
High-performance computing in biomedical research
Advanced methods for biomedical signal processing and biomedical image analysis
Text mining and natural language processing and their applications in biomedical research
Computational systems medicine:
Systems biology of complex diseaseComplex biological network modeling
Complex biological systems simulation and visualization in medicine
For the intent of paper submission, the authors are encouraged to read carefully the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/cmmm/guidelines/ for manuscript preparation.
